1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VP Vault ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VP Vault is a board game session tracking application that allows users to:

  • Log and track board game sessions and scores
  • Organize game events and invite participants
  • View statistics and history of gameplay
  • Upload photos related to gaming sessions
  • Connect with other players

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

4.2 Content Standards

You agree not to submit User Content that:

  • Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains viruses or malicious code
  • Violates the privacy of others
  • Is spam or unauthorized advertising

4.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable for any reason, without prior notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Scrape, crawl, or spider any content from the Service
  • Use automated means to access the Service without permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by VP Vault and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Board game names, logos, and related intellectual property belong to their respective owners. VP Vault does not claim ownership of any third-party intellectual property.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by VP Vault. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VP VAULT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted through the Service

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VP Vault and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VP Vault operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
